I've been reaching out to various people within our community hoping to find people receptive to our new product. I asked a few families for their opinions and so far they seem to like our juice. Additionally, a few doctors were willing to test our products on their more sensitive patients. I can't wait to hear what happens.
Because we're so new we heavily rely on feedback to help mold and shape our company. That's why we ask over and over again for your feedback.
Anyhoo... we're rolling now and there's lots to do. Gotta get back to work... talk to ya later!
Hi everyone! Betty and I spent a long time thinking about what we wanted to do with our blog. Where did we want to head with this? What did we want to accomplish? Why did we even want to have a blog? Let me start by introducing myself, my name is Cinthia, I am an intern with GoGo Juice. I recently graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a degree in Sociology and Business Management and Economics. I decided to apply to GoGo Juice not only because it would give me good experience working with a start up company, but also because I saw that it wasn’t like any other juice company out there. GoGo Juice was created with the intention of helping families with special needs, something that is hard to come across in any business.
The first thing I did when I joined GoGo Juice was to Google everything that had to do with the autism spectrum. I wanted to know as much as I could about the spectrum and find out for myself why it’s important to address this community and its needs. Needless to say I got extremely overwhelmed with all of the information I found. On the one hand it’s great to know that there are so many resources for parents and families in need of assistance and advice, but at the same time with so much information out there, how does one figure out where to start? Up to this day I’m still coming across a lot of new sites that I find very helpful in my research, so I can just imagine what parents with children in the spectrum go through on a daily basis.
With that in mind, we at GoGo Juice feel the urge to acknowledge all the hard work that parents and families put into helping their children on the spectrum have a better life. We know it’s not easy and we commend all your efforts. We will also like to lend a helping hand by sharing some of the sites that we come across that we feel are important and helpful for people on the spectrum. We’ll be posting these sites on Facebook, so make sure to check us out there, and if you have any suggestions for websites please let us know, we would truly appreciate it!
We've been operating in this fantasy of world of "what-if's" this past year. And, with our official launch (July 7th) fast approaching we're beginning to feel the reality of it all. Pretty soon, we'll have customers start ordering and calling giving us feedback. We're excited and yet extremely nervous! But, we TOTALLY believe in our product and what's its trying to do. We are building our business and creating products that families TRULY need. So, in the back of our mind, we know that everything will be alright. Help keep us accountable - we're help to help you. And, the only way we will accomplish that is if you tell us how we're doing. Hope to speak with you soon!
I'm so excited to announce that we secured a great addition to our board! Reem, Co-founder of Numi Tea has agreed to help us out! We're very excited to have her on board - YEAH!!!
Hi - This is the founder, Betty Chen, and I'm in the process of creating the website. I wanted to give our future families a quick shout-out. Even though we haven't met yet... we will soon. Can't wait to meet you!
